This week, my daughter’s new favorite set of board books was one we got from the Children’s Book of the Month Club.    These books have wonderful little illustrations and feature the same characters in all 4 books.    They are great interactive books!

The first one in the set is called What Shall We Do Today?.   Each page shows an activity you can do and then asks a question about what the CHILD likes related to that activity.   The next one is called Ready, Steady, Go!.  This book goes through the course of getting ready for the day from getting out of bed, all the way through getting dressed to go out and play.

The next one is called Morning Noises and shows all sorts of things you might hear that show that it’s time to wake up.   The last one, which is my daughter’s FAVORITE is called Wake Up and Stretch.   This book has all sorts of stretches and exercises.  It’s truly an interactive book.   You can reach for the sky, touch the floor, wiggle your bottom, hop, skip and jump.

Or if you are a guy, who has a daughter who doesn’t want to do the exercises today, you can redo the story with laser-beams coming out of all sorts of body parts instead.   Ask me how I know :).

Do you know of any good wiggle and move books?  Leave them in the comments!

I hadn’t heard of these before but they sound really cute!

And on a total side note – CONGRATS on the baby on the way! Love your “ticker.”
